Ellen originally hails from County Galway but now calls County Tipperary her home.

She loves nothing more than being in the outdoors, surrounded by nature. Ellen completed a degree in Equine Science and a Masters in Marketing and has worked with some of the top thoroughbred breeding farms including Coolmore Stud and the Irish National Stud. Ellen suggests visiting Ireland in the Spring, ‘Spring is a beautiful time to visit, the countryside is full of new life with newborn foals, lambs and calves and the landscape bursts into colorful bloom’.

Ellen has worked in tourism for a number of years including with some of the countries top attractions. Some of her favorite experiences include visiting the Japanese Gardens at the Irish National Stud, a walk along the cliff walk in Dunmore East, County Waterford and a visit to EPIC, the Irish Emigration Museum in Dublin. Being a Galway native and a little biased she also suggests touring Galway City, discovering the many restaurants and pubs.

Ellen suggests following @discoverireland.ie and @tourismireland which are sure to inspire you to book your next trip to Ireland.
